Est. 2014. Eureka Sound was founded by Ryan Kordich and David Yun; Childhood friends Based out of Orange County, Southern California.

Our name “Eureka Sound” takes on the meaning of finding spiritual epiphany and enlightenment through Music. Although continuously evolving sonically, our sound is best described as a beautiful blend of the syncopated rhythms of classic roots reggae paired with modern harmonic compositions.

In late 2016, we recorded our debut EP titled “Eureka” at Word Sound Power Studio with Andy Deemer of ITAL VIBES. Released winter of 2017, the record peaked at top 3 on the iTunes reggae charts on the week of release.  We went on to release three more singles. “Big Pharma”, recorded at Big G Studios with Gary Larson was released in October 2018, and has become a hit tune with the feature of Iya Terra. Shortly after, singles “Celebration Time” and “Empathy” were recorded at 9th Realm Records with Aaron Kaili and released in 2019. The two songs were then included in a full-length album titled “Word to Mankind” released November 8th, 2019, sitting at #6 on the iTunes reggae charts. We have since released a sophomore full- length album “Rediscover” featuring artists such as (Lutan Fyah, Simpkin Project, The Steppas). Followed up by a collaboration album “In Time” with Nick Sefakis with features like (The Congos, Dezarie, Mike Love, Tribal Seeds, and Mellow Mood).

Eureka Sound is honored to have worked alongside numerous artists in the U.S. as well as the global reggae scene. From nationwide support tours alongside Grammy Award winning artists like Julian Marley and Kabaka Pyramid, to studio session works supporting a plethora of artists throughout the country, Eureka Sound is bringing a unique and refreshing sound into the global reggae collective.

The current lineup of musicians consists of Ryan Kordich (Keyboards/Organs/Vocals), David Yun (Guitar/Vocals), Blake Bartz (Percussions), Tyler Last (Bass), Salvador Pineda (Drums), Buddy Villalobos (Vocals).
